"Since assuming the position of German Language Advisor for Western Canada in the fall of 2015 I have been working closely together with the BCCTG. Through my collaboration with the BCCTG I have been able to connect with German teachers from all over British Columbia, to get a better understanding of the situation of German studies and the needs of German teachers throughout the province and, last but not least, to meet a lot of very nice and interesting people. The BCCTG fall conference, where I have been presenting German workshops on the Deutsches Sprachdiplom (DSD) and other topics for the past six years, has always been a highlight of my annual work schedule – awesome vibe, interesting topics and great people!

"As Director of the Language Department and Educational Liaison at the Goethe-Institut Toronto, I’ve had the pleasure to work with both the amazing board and members of the BCCTG over the last 8 years. The Goethe-Institut relies on partnerships exactly like the one we have with the BCCTG to be able to fulfill its mission. Together, we promote and further the Teaching and Learning of German not only in BC, but within all Canadian Provinces and Territories. It has always been an immense pleasure to contribute one or several workshops to the association’s annual fall conference, and to get to meet the wonderful German teachers of British Colombia myself. We wish you best of luck with all your new projects and are looking forward to a continued cooperation!"
