The PAD Scholarship Program
Funded by the German Federal Foreign Office and coordinated by the PAD(Pädagogischer Austauschdienst), the PAD scholarship program aims to promote the study of German language world wide by awarding full scholarships to students excelling in their studies of German.
Every year, around 450 high school aged students from public schools in 90 countries are selected and are invited to a four-week stay in Germany. These students participate in a study program lasting several days in international groups in Cologne, Bonn, Berlin and Munich or Hamburg, where they meet peers from all over the world.
As a highlight of the program, the students spend two weeks with a host family, attend the local German high school with their host siblings, participate in their lessons and take part in an accelerated German program.
BCCTG is very proud to have been able to choose winners almost every year throughout the past decade. This scholarship is a life changing experience, and it starts with your first German lesson.

Ein ehemaliger Gewinner erzählt...
Mit dem Prämienprogramm des PAD werden Schülerinnen und Schüler aus der ganzen Welt für ihre hervorragenden Deutschkentnisse ausgezeichnet. Abalo Pawilou aus dem Togo lernte selbst als Internationaler Preisträger Deutschland kennen. Mittlerweile lebt er in Deutschland und hat diesen Videoclip gedreht, in dem das Prämienprogramm des PAD und die aktuelle Situation während der Corona-Pandemie vorgestellt werden.
